When will I receive my Travel eSIM?
- Your eSIM QR code is usually delivered by email within about one minute after successful payment.
- In rare cases, it may take a little longer depending on your email provider, so please also check your spam or junk folder if you do not see the email right away.
Which devices work with the Travel eSIM ?
Most smartphones manufactured from 2020 onwards support eSIM technology. However, some entry-level and mid-range devices may still only support physical SIM cards.
Please also note that many phones purchased in China do not support eSIM, even if the same model supports it in other regions. We recommend checking your device specifications with the manufacturer before purchasing.
Why do I need an internet connection to install the eSIM?
- Your phone needs to be connected to WiFi or mobile data in order to download the eSIM profile after scanning the QR code.
- For this reason, we recommend installing the eSIM before your trip, while you still have access to a reliable internet connection.
Can I make phone calls and send messages with my Travel eSIM?
- Our travel eSIMs are data-only and do not include traditional phone calls or SMS.
- However, you can still make calls and send messages using internet-based apps such as WhatsApp, WeChat, or Facebook Messenger. These apps allow voice calls, video calls, and messaging using your data connection.
What can I do if my eSIM does not work?
- If your eSIM does not connect to mobile data, please check the following:
- Please make sure that you have:
- Activated the eSIM after downloading it
- Enabled Data Roaming in the settings of the eSIM
- Turned on Mobile Data for the eSIM

- If you still cannot connect to mobile data, try restarting your phone, as this often helps the device connect to the network.
- You should also make sure that other installed eSIMs are deactivated, as having multiple active eSIM profiles can sometimes cause connection issues.

When should I set up my eSIM?
You need WiFi to set up your eSIM so we recommend that you install and activate your eSIM just before your departure. You can also wait until you arrive in the country to activate the eSIM, but remember that you need WiFi connection for the set-up process.
Can I create a hotspot for other travelers with my eSIM?
- Yes, you can!
- Most devices allow you to share your mobile data via hotspot, which means you can connect other devices such as laptops, tablets, or your travel companions’ phones to your internet connection.
Can I renew or extend the data on my eSIM?
Yes. You can easily add more data or extend your plan by purchasing one of our top-up plans, which will be applied to your existing eSIM.
Can I get a refund if I no longer want my eSIM?
- Due to the nature of international digital products and cross-border bank transactions, refunds are unfortunately not possible once a purchase has been completed.
- However, if your eSIM has not yet been activated, you are welcome to share the QR code with a friend or family member so they can use it instead.
Is payment through the website secure?
- Yes. All payments are processed through the official e-commerce platform of the Trade and Development Bank of Mongolia (TDB), one of Mongolia’s leading banks.
- Your payment details are handled securely through their certified system.
Why is the payment page sometimes in Mongolian?
- The payment page language is automatically based on your device settings. If your device language is set to English, the payment page will appear in English. If another language is selected, the system may default to Mongolian, which is the bank’s standard setting.
- If needed, you can easily use your browser’s translation tool (for example, in Google Chrome).
Why are your prices so affordable?
- Installing your eSIM is quick and simple.
- Open your device’s Settings.
- Go to SIM settings or Mobile Network.
- Select Add eSIM or Add Mobile Plan.
- Scan the QR code you received via email.
- Your device will then download the eSIM profile and guide you through the remaining steps.
How do I install and activate my eSIM?
- As a relatively new and small company, we operate with small profit margins. In addition, Mongolia’s e-commerce tax structure allows us to keep our prices competitive compared to many international providers. Our aim is to offer honest pricing without unnecessary markups.
When does the data plan validity start?
- Your data plan begins as soon as the eSIM is activated on your device.
- Because of this, we recommend installing the eSIM in advance but waiting to activate it until the day of your trip, so you can make full use of the plan during your travels.
